Monthly nomination and evaluation for the best improvement

Improvement is the lifeline for the survival and development of our enterprise. It is not only a powerful tool for optimizing processes and reducing costs while increasing efficiency, but also the core engine for stimulating the potential of every employee and shaping an outstanding team culture.

A minor improvement might stem from a sudden flash of inspiration or from the persistent refinement of a bit of discomfort in daily work. But it is precisely this trickling stream of wisdom and dedication that has converged into the tremendous energy that propels Zhengcun forward continuously. Improvement makes our work more efficient, our products of higher quality, and also enables every partner involved to gain a full sense of achievement and growth.

At present, Zhengcun has three improvement groups: the group for improving blind spots in workplace management, the group for improving blind spots in non-workplace management, and the group for improving blind spots in safety management. Every day, relevant personnel in these three groups improve the areas they are responsible for and report via video.

To this end, in April 2025, we launched the "Monthly Best Improvement Nomination and Evaluation" campaign, aiming to discover, recognize and promote these outstanding improvement cases.

"1 Nomination

Every morning, the general manager reviews everyone's reports from the previous day, recommends representative and creative improvement videos, and posts them in the Shanghai Zhengcun Company group for everyone to learn from. The Human Resources Department records this improvement content.

2 Evaluation

2.1 Scoring

On the first working day of each month, the Human Resources Department convenes the Manufacturing General Manager, the third production Manager, the Security Manager, the Quality Control Manager, the warehouse supervisor, and the General Affairs Manager to play and score the best improvement videos nominated for the previous month. The video with the highest total score is awarded the best Improvement award of the previous month, while all other improvements receive participation awards. It aims to stimulate everyone's subjective initiative.

2.2 Prizes

Colleagues who win the Best Improvement Award and the Participation Award will all receive prizes. Regarding the selection of prizes, we considered cash, custom pens and skin care products, etc., and finally chose Uniqlo clothes as the prizes. Why make such a choice? Because Uniqlo is a representative of "high quality and low price". This coincides with the philosophy of Zhengcun. All of Zhengcun's improvement activities are aimed at achieving "high quality and low price" for its products.

Each nomination is a sincere tribute to the belief of "pursuing excellence". Every recognition is a warm response to the "striving for excellence" craftsmanship spirit. The star of Improvement for this month has been revealed, but our journey of improvement is endless.

These wonderful cases, like scattered sparks everywhere, not only solve the current problems but also provide us with referential thinking and methods, and integrate the awareness of improvement into every detail of our work. We look forward to seeing more winners and innovative wisdom emerge in future evaluations. Let's work together to make the culture of improvement take deep root and thrive in Zhengcun!
